Gear fault diagnosis using gear meshing stiffness identified by gearbox housing vibration signals

摘要: Gearbox fault diagnosis based on vibration sensing has drawn much attention for a long time. For highly integrated complicated mechanical systems, the intercoupling of structure transfer paths results in a great reduction or even change of signal characteristics during the process of original vibration transmission. Therefore, using gearbox housing vibration signal to identify gear meshing excitation signal is of great significance to eliminate the influence of structure transfer paths, but accompanied by huge scientific challenges. This paper establishes an analytical mathematical description of the whole transfer process from gear meshing excitation to housing vibration. The gear meshing stiffness (GMS) identification approach is proposed by using housing vibration signals for two stages of inversion based on the mathematical description. Specifically, the linear system equations of transfer path analysis are first inverted to identify the bearing dynamic forces. Then the dynamic differential equations are inverted to identify the GMS. Numerical simulation and experimental results demonstrate the proposed method can realize gear fault diagnosis better than the original housing vibration signal and has the potential to be generalized to other speeds and loads. Some interesting properties are discovered in the identified GMS spectra, and the results also validate the rationality of using meshing stiffness to describe the actual gear meshing process. The identified GMS has a clear physical meaning and is thus very useful for fault diagnosis of the complicated equipment.

Extended model predictive control scheme for smooth path following of autonomous vehicles

摘要: This paper presents an extended model predictive control (MPC) scheme for implementing optimal path following of autonomous vehicles, which has multiple constraints and an integrated model of vehicle and road dynamics. Road curvature and inclination factors are used in the construction of the vehicle dynamic model to describe its lateral and roll dynamics accurately. Sideslip, rollover, and vehicle envelopes are used as multiple constraints in the MPC controller formulation. Then, an extended MPC method solved by differential evolution optimization algorithm is proposed to realize optimal smooth path following based on driving path features. Finally, simulation and real experiments are carried out to evaluate the feasibility and the effectiveness of the extended MPC scheme. Results indicate that the proposed method can obtain the smooth transition to follow the optimal drivable path and satisfy the lateral dynamic stability and environmental constraints, which can improve the path following quality for better ride comfort and road availability of autonomous vehicles.

Innovative development path of ethnomedicines: an overview of ethnomedicines in China

摘要:

In the long history of disease prevention and treatment, ancestral populations worldwide have gained knowledge and experiences in traditional medicines. For instance, ethnomedicines of Chinese ethnic minorities constitute an important part of traditional medicines. In our study, we firstly clarified the concept of ethnomedicines and the connotations of ethnopharmacology. The particularity of ethnomedicine research were then summed up, and the development profiles of the ethnomedicines of Chinese ethnic minorities were discussed by investigating the current status and existing problems. On this basis, we abstracted the innovative development path of ethnomedicines for the first time, which was found to follows:resource study → standardized development research → industrialization of the achievements and efforts for internationalization. We found that platform establishment and team training are keys to achieving innovative development. Hence, this study provided a basis for ethnomedicine development.

Innovative development path of ethnomedicines: the interpretation of the path

摘要:

One of the primary purposes of the innovative development of ethnomedicines is to use their excellent safety and significant efficacy to serve a broader population. To achieve this purpose, modern scientific and technological means should be referenced, and relevant national laws and regulations as well as technical guides should be strictly followed to develop standards and to perform systemic research in producing ethnomedicines. Finally, ethnomedicines, which are applied to a limited extent in ethnic areas, can be transformed into safe, effective, and quality-controllable medical products to relieve the pain of more patients. The innovative development path of ethnomedicines includes the following three primary stages: resource study, standardized development research, and industrialization of the achievements and efforts for internationalization. The implementation of this path is always guaranteed by the research and development platform and the talent team. This article is based on the accumulation of long-term practice and is combined with the relevant disciplines, laws and regulations, and technical guidance from the research and development of ethnomedicines. The intention is to perform an in-depth analysis and explanation of the major research thinking, methods, contents, and technical paths involved in all stages of the innovative development path of ethnomedicines to provide useful references for the development of proper ethnomedicine use.

Tool path strategy and cutting process monitoring in intelligent machining

Intelligent machining is a current focus in advanced manufacturing technology, and is characterized by high accuracy and efficiency. A central technology of intelligent machining—the cutting process online monitoring and optimization—is urgently needed for mass production. In this research, the cutting process online monitoring and optimization in jet engine impeller machining, cranio-maxillofacial surgery, and hydraulic servo valve deburring are introduced as examples of intelligent machining. Results show that intelligent tool path optimization and cutting process online monitoring are efficient techniques for improving the efficiency, quality, and reliability of machining.

Biologically inspired model of path integration based on head direction cells and grid cells

摘要: Some neurons in the brain of freely moving rodents show special firing pattern. The firing of head direction cells (HDCs) and grid cells (GCs) is related to the moving direction and distance, respectively. Thus, it is considered that these cells play an important role in the rodents’ path integration. To provide a bionic approach for the vehicle to achieve path integration, we present a biologically inspired model of path integration based on the firing characteristics of HDCs and GCs. The detailed implementation process of this model is discussed. Besides, the proposed model is realized by simulation, and the path integration performance is analyzed under different conditions. Simulations validate that the proposed model is effective and stable.

摘要: Solid-state electrolytes (SSEs) can address the safety issue of organic electrolyte in rechargeable lithium batteries. Unfortunately, neither polymer nor ceramic SSEs used alone can meet the demand although great progress has been made in the past few years. Composite solid electrolytes (CSEs) composed of flexible polymers and brittle but more conducting ceramics can take advantage of the individual system for solid-state lithium metal batteries (SSLMBs). CSEs can be largely divided into two categories by the mass fraction of the components: “polymer rich” (PR) and “ceramic rich” (CR) systems with different internal structures and electrochemical properties. This review provides a comprehensive and in-depth understanding of recent advances and limitations of both PR and CR electrolytes, with a special focus on the ion conduction path based on polymer-ceramic interaction mechanisms and structural designs of ceramic fillers/frameworks. In addition, it highlights the PR and CR which bring the leverage between the electrochemical property and the mechanical property. Moreover, it further prospects the possible route for future development of CSEs according to their rational design, which is expected to accelerate the practical application of SSLMBs.

摘要:

提出一种以障碍物和机器人位置和速度等信息为基础的障碍躲避方法,重点探讨了确定性环境下障碍躲避和转弯过程中机器人应遵循的合理路径问题,并通过证明指出了给定环境条件下实现转弯和障碍躲避的最佳路径。仿真实验表明,该结论简单有效,便于实施,具有较高的应用价值。

航母飞行甲板上飞机转运路径优化方法的设计与验证 Research Articles

摘要: 研究了在能见度较低或夜间情况下,航母飞行甲板上飞机安全转运的路径规划问题。首先,分析了舰载机在飞行甲板上的转运路径规划问题,定义了优化目标和约束条件。其次,为解决这一问题,建立了飞行甲板、舰载机实体、实体扩展、实体姿态、实体冲突检测和路径平滑的数学支持模型,为航母上飞机的转运路径规划提供了必要基础。再次,为实现转运路径自动规划,设计了一种多生境并行混沌算法(KCMPSO),并将其作为转运路径规划的优化方法。最后,以库兹涅佐夫号航空母舰为例进行仿真模拟。仿真结果表明,与粒子群算法相比,该方法能较好解决航母飞行甲板上飞机的转运路径规划问题。

Strategy for robot motion and path planning in robot taping

Covering objects with masking tapes is a common process for surface protection in processes like spray painting, plasma spraying, shot peening, etc. Manual taping is tedious and takes a lot of effort of the workers. The taping process is a special process which requires correct surface covering strategy and proper attachment of the masking tape for an efficient surface protection. We have introduced an automatic robot taping system consisting of a robot manipulator, a rotating platform, a 3D scanner and specially designed taping end-effectors. This paper mainly talks about the surface covering strategies for different classes of geometries. The methods and corresponding taping tools are introduced for taping of following classes of surfaces: Cylindrical/extended surfaces, freeform surfaces with no grooves, surfaces with grooves, and rotational symmetrical surfaces. A collision avoidance algorithm is introduced for the robot taping manipulation. With further improvements on segmenting surfaces of taping parts and tape cutting mechanisms, such taping solution with the taping tool and the taping methodology can be combined as a very useful and practical taping package to assist humans in this tedious and time costly work.

Augmentation of natural convective heat transfer by acoustic cavitation

摘要: An experimental study was conducted to investigate the effects of acoustic cavitation on natural convective heat transfer from a horizontal circular tube. The experimental results indicated that heat transfer could be enhanced by acoustic cavitation and had the best effect when the head of the ultrasonic transducer was over the midpoint of the circular tube, and the distance between the head and the tube equaled 15 mm. The augmentation at low heat flux was better than that in the case of high heat flux. Based on experimental results, the correlation formula of Nusselt number for water was obtained.

摘要:

数字技术是我国农业现代化发展的重要驱动力量,利用数字技术发展西南山区现代农业,是全面振兴乡村、实现共同富裕的可行途径,实现中国式现代化的必然要求。本文阐述了西南山区数字农业的概念内涵与运行逻辑,基于公开统计数据和实地调研资料,从相关主体协调性、基础设施建设、生产销售环节应用、人口结构等方面分析了西南山区数字农业发展现状,进一步厘清了发展面临的现实困境。研究建议,健全农村多元合作机制、挖掘数字农业发展深度,强化数字基础设施建设、提高数字农业发展广度,拓宽数字农业应用场景、扩大数字农业发展宽度,加强数字人才体系培养、提升数字农业发展水平,以此驱动新形势下西南山区数字农业深化发展。
